Install Spotline on Android

    Download the Spotline APK

    Tap the Download APK button at the top of this page. Spotline-v0.1.0.apk saves to your Downloads folder.

    Open the download notification

    When the download finishes, pull down the notification shade and tap the entry for Spotline-v0.1.0.apk to start installing.

    Allow apps from this source

    If your phone has not installed an APK before, Android prompts "Allow apps from this source". Tap Settings, enable the toggle, then back out — the install flow continues automatically.

    Allow the network connection

    Open Spotline once installation finishes. Android asks permission to set up a network connection — tap OK to allow.

    Sign in or create an account

    Use your Spotline credentials, or tap Register to set up a new account.

    Pick a region and connect

    Choose a regional gateway and tap Connect. The status indicator turns teal once you are online through Spotline.

Common questions

Why doesn't Spotline use the App Store or Play Store?

We use direct distribution so the service stays available regardless of store-level review decisions. Every installer is digitally signed — iOS ships through Apple's TestFlight beta channel, the macOS build is notarized by Apple, and the Windows installer is code-signed. You get the same verification a store would do, with full control over when and how to update.
